New Patient Exam

Welcome to your first visit with us! This exam is a great opportunity for us to address all your needs, wants, and "would love to haves". Typically lasting about an hour, we will take any necessary x-rays, check for any signs of disease, address any airway concerns, assess growth patterns in children, examine tooth wear, and even take photos of your teeth and smile. We want you to be a part of this process so that you can clearly see what we are treating or not treating. Your mouth is important to us and that's why we'll take the time to ask questions and answer any questions you may have. With your input, we will create an individualized treatment plan just for you. We look forward to working with you on achieving a healthy and happy smile!

Dental Cleaning
Preventative Dentistry

Maintaining good oral health is crucial for a beautiful smile. Regular checkups are essential in detecting potential issues such as oral cancer, gum disease, and tooth decay early on to prevent them from becoming bigger problems. The frequency of dental cleanings will be determined by the rate at which plaque and calculus build up in your mouth, usually ranging between 3 to 9 months. Our team of highly knowledgeable hygienists are carefully selected to provide you with the best care possible. We're not just here to remind you about flossing - we genuinely love seeing our patients maintain healthy mouths!

Restorative Dentistry

We specialize in restoring damaged or decaying teeth to their original form and function. This may involve procedures such as white fillings, crowns, bonding, and more. Often, we take before and after pictures (if you'd like) to showcase the amazing transformation. We also know that having a supportive and calming presence during dental procedures is important. Dr. Little has a fantastic bedside manner that will help put you at ease, and she is especially great at working with kids too. She will walk you through each step of the process, so you feel comfortable and informed. And if necessary, she can offer nitrous oxide to help you relax during your procedural appointment. Your comfort and satisfaction are our top priorities, let us help restore your smile!

Dental Smile
Cosmetic Dentistry

No matter what issues your teeth may have, such as being misshapen, crooked, discolored, chipped, or even missing, we can help. Keep in mind that cosmetic dentistry is often elective, which may require additional planning sessions and molds. However, we will keep you involved every step of the way. After all, beauty is subjective, and we will never pressure you into unnecessary cosmetic treatments. You might even embrace certain imperfections, like a gap between your teeth. But if you do ask us about it, know that our team is well-trained to provide the latest techniques and use the best materials available. Our goal is to give you a smile that makes you feel confident and happy with who you are.

At times, a tooth may need to be removed. This could be for reasons such as braces, wisdom teeth, or if the tooth has reached its limits. If you require dental implants or bone grafting, don't worry - we've got you covered! Our Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon Dr. Garbedian and nurses, will take the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and steps with you. Plus, we have a faculty sedation permit that allows us to put you to sleep during any of these procedures. So, sit back and relax - your oral health is in good hands with us!

TMD Therapy For Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction

Temporomandibular disorders (TMD) refer to a group of conditions affecting the jaw muscles, temporomandibular joints, and associated facial nerves. These conditions can be debilitating, causing chronic pain that may feel like a toothache, headache, or earache. TMD is often known as the "great pretender" because its symptoms can mimic other common pains. However, with proper diagnosis – which we have received extensive continuing education on – we can effectively treat TMD by addressing both joint and muscle issues. As dentists, we have several options for treating TMD. One approach is TENSing (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation), which uses gentle electrical stimulation to relax the face and jaw muscles by targeting the nerves that control chewing and facial expressions. Additionally, we can also discuss the use of night guards – not only do they protect your teeth from wear, but they also help reduce clenching and grinding that contribute to TMD. Furthermore, we can examine your bite and explore potential solutions such as orthodontics to address any underlying issues that may be causing your discomfort. We can explore the option of utilizing Botox treatment for the muscles involved in mastication. Dr. Little possesses specialized training in this area and will recommend an approach that is most suitable for addressing your TMD symptoms. If you are experiencing any symptoms of TMD or have questions about managing chronic facial pain, please don't hesitate to reach out to us for help!
